“I think a hero is someone who, if abroad or traveling, they go to the GOOP website to see what shops to go to, what restaurants to eat at, what clothes to buy, and they do that not fearlessly but in spite of their fear.”—
I want to see it again! But here we go:
1. John Noble: fine voice but as always it was how he did it that made it really SING
Voice: B Presentation: A
2. Lance Reddick: Woooooooooow. He has an AMAZING voice and he killed it, both in the song and in the “Leave it to the big boys” Damn, he was hot last night.
Voice: A Presentation: A
3. Jasika Nicole: very nice voice, clearly trained, and I love A Chorus Line but it was the most random.
Voice: B+ Presentation: B-
4. Anna Torv: voice not really memorable because presentation was amazing. But the entire Olivia in men’s pjs and Peter in the brown vest sequence start to finish was mind blowingly hot and wonderful. Those costumes + talking about Jazz + Walter Breaks My Heart fairy tale of win + fight sequence with iwantthatpropgunnow + Iron Man tribute + everything else? Words can’t describe.
Voice: OK Presentation: A++++++
When you were a little girl, who did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a dolphin trainer, or as I called it after seeing Star Trek IV, a cetacean biologist (so I suppose that means I wanted to be Gillian Taylor). But what I really wanted was to be to whales what Dian Fosse was to gorillas. I wanted to be Dian Fosse (or alternatively, Sigourney Weaver).
