Does it bother anyone else that everyone in town was hating on Mary Margaret for participating in an affair, but no one was punishing David?
I’m not saying I don’t want them together but for crying out loud it’s not like he’s innocent. If you’re going to take it upon yourself to come out and judge the adulterers, make it evenly spread.
It bothers me a lot. Given the conceit that everyone in the very small town is a fairy tale (moralistic) character and they all know each other and possibly don’t have the ability to react differently from the way they would in their story, I can explain the over the top judginess. However, even in that case (and I can only accept it with that conceit), the fact that we are not shown the town shunning and heckling David to the same extent we see them do it to Mary Margaret is MADDENING. And I personally don’t want them together, Mary Margaret deserves better.
