Dream: realized.
So this is me ;) My husband made the jacket; we will take detailed pictures when it is complete and I will blog the whole process and story. This moment was the realization of a dream for me, too. I wanted to show Kelly Sue (and her collaborators) how much this character and this project mean to me and I believe I succeeded. She’d already convinced me she “gets it” in interviews I’ve read since the announcement of Captain Marvel, but in the discussions we had at Wiscon, and in the work I got to preview, it became clear when it comes to Carol Danvers, I get Kelly Sue and Kelly Sue gets me. Here are my wings:
I feel they’re a symbol that we’re all flying together.
