exclusive look at the avengers on set of the new gossip girl
An object that is surrounded by a magnetic field and that has the property, either natural or induced, of attracting iron or steel.
A person, a place, an object, or a situation that exerts attraction.
A female child, from birth to full growth.
The use of girl to refer to a woman of any age is highly likely to be considered old-fashioned or to cause offence.
This is cropped from preview art for Avengers Assemble 9, out this week. I’m sure there is really great on-point dialogue for this but…out of context and as is, I am in love.
“Remember? Enjoy the moment?”
“Then get in here and I will.”
This is still my favourite scene in the whole movie.
I love the Olympics and the pageantry and fun of the Olympics Opening Ceremonies. My family is watching together tonight (with Harry Potter themed goodies, of course) and my daughter equates “my family watching event television” with “superhero bingo”. So, I made one up for her, with boards for each of us (you can also download the PDF). I have no idea if it will work out but the point is FUN. I used superheroes who appeared in film or television plus Winter Soldier (coming soon!) and Captain Britain (because, London). If you disagree with my key, feel free to make up your own rules :)
The latest masterpiece by Aeris featuring her favorite Avengers: Thor, Iron Man, and “Eye Patch Dude”.
This was the best moment of the con. We caught sight of a big group of Marvel cosplayers having a photoshoot and Aeris ran over to these three (I wish I had video of how her hair bounced when she ran, it was amazing and adorable) and cried out “Avengers! Will you take your picture with me?”. Thor absolutely melted, which was wonderful because he’s her favorite superhero, and they posed for this amazing photo (look at her smile!). Then the photographer called them back to assemble for a picture with everybody and Aeris, who’d been posing all day of course, went along. Christian and I laughed nervously and called her back — “Merida! You’re not in the Avengers!” — but as Captain America gave her a little hug and pointed her in our direction, Thor said “She could be, we don’t have a Hawkeye!” and Captain America totally agreed she should be their Hawkeye and basically Aeris!Merida was asked to join the Avengers and it was the Best Thing Ever. Well played all around.
