girl (gurl)
n.
A female child, from birth to full growth.

The use of girl to refer to a woman of any age is highly likely to be considered old-fashioned or to cause offence.

I have a type. For boys. Men. I once made my husband laugh for about half an hour when I said I was ‘more attracted to myself than to most men’. This was just after seeing Gone In Sixty Seconds, the film that started my infatuation with Angelina Jolie, and basically I cannot imagine ANYONE finds Nicolas Cage (or Giovanni Ribisi or Delroy Lindo or Robert Duvall or Christopher Eccleston) more attractive than her in that film. Does not compute. But I guess someone must. And probably it’s not the best film to use, none of those listed would fit into my photoset of dark haired pretty boys who sometimes brood and sometimes make utterly adorable goofy faces.

But I have a clear type for men. And I don’t have a clear type for women (beyond still having a slight preference for dark hair, but Angie has white-blonde dreadlocks as Sway and I have to reiterate that it is the most attractive thing ever). I do genuinely find women’s bodies more appealing. My dark haired pretty boys are the exception. And probably the “pretty boys” part is key — rippling muscles do nothing for me on men or women. Tone is a turn off.

So basically this is an apology for not having a coinciding photoset of six women; I tried but it just wouldn’t come together as well under the conceit of “consistent type”. If you want to reblog the pretty without the babble, I’m okay with that ;)
